Our Community [LaunchesHQ](https://launcheshq.com/?ref=help) brings together founders, makers, developers, entrepreneurs, businesses, and people interested in discovering new products. We want the platform to be useful, welcoming, and trustworthy. Everyone who uses LaunchesHQ is expected to treat others fairly and act honestly. This Code of Conduct applies to account holders, submitters, advertisers, and anyone interacting with LaunchesHQ or its community features. ## 2. Be Respectful You must: * Communicate professionally and respectfully. * Disagree with ideas without attacking people. * Respect other users' privacy and boundaries. * Avoid harassment, threats, intimidation, and targeted abuse. * Avoid discriminatory or hateful conduct. Criticism of a product or business is permitted when expressed honestly and without prohibited abuse. ## 3. Be Honest You must not: * Impersonate another person, founder, company, or organization. * Invent testimonials, customers, product capabilities, or performance figures. * Misrepresent your relationship with a product. * Claim that LaunchesHQ endorses or certifies your product without authorization. * Misrepresent paid promotion as an independent recommendation. * Use fake accounts or coordinated activity to deceive users. Be transparent about material affiliations when required by law or platform policy. ## 4. Respect the Submission Process Submitters must provide genuine product information and follow the published submission rules. You must not: * Circumvent free submission limits. * Submit duplicate launches to manipulate visibility. * Remove a required LaunchesHQ badge while continuing to rely on free submission eligibility. * Abuse the submission queue or attempt to obtain unauthorized promotional slots. * Use automated activity to disrupt or manipulate the platform. Free launches are limited to 10 slots per day. Paid pinned placements are limited to 5 daily, 3 weekly, and 3 monthly slots, at the prices shown on our pricing page. LaunchesHQ does not use community voting to rank launches. Attempts to manipulate voting on other platforms do not create any special status on LaunchesHQ. ## 5. No Spam or Abuse Do not use LaunchesHQ to distribute unsolicited promotions, repetitive messages, deceptive redirects, malicious links, or irrelevant material. Do not attempt to exploit platform bugs, overload our systems, bypass security controls, or gain unauthorized access to accounts or data. Do not use another person's contact information for marketing without the necessary authority or lawful basis. ## 6. Respect Intellectual Property and Privacy You must have the right to use the names, logos, screenshots, videos, text, and other materials included in your submissions. Do not publish private information about another person without appropriate authorization or another lawful basis. Do not use LaunchesHQ to distribute confidential information, stolen materials, personal data obtained unlawfully, or content that violates another person's rights. ## 7. Honest Advertising Paid promotional placements must comply with our [Advertising & Sponsorship Policy](https://help.launcheshq.com/legal/advertising-policy.md). Advertisers must provide accurate descriptions and destination links. They must not mislead users about the nature, benefits, availability, or pricing of a product. Purchasing a pinned placement does not permit prohibited content or false claims. ## 8. Reporting Violations If you encounter conduct that violates this Code, email [contact@launcheshq.com](mailto:contact@launcheshq.com). Please provide: * The relevant listing, account, or URL. * A description of the conduct. * Supporting evidence, if available. * Any steps needed to understand the issue. We review reports based on their content, seriousness, available evidence, and applicable legal requirements. ## 9. Enforcement Depending on the circumstances, we may issue a warning, request corrective action, reject a submission, remove content, suspend an account, or permanently restrict access. Serious cases involving fraud, security threats, unlawful content, or repeated abuse may result in immediate action. We may consider the severity, frequency, intent, and impact of a violation when deciding what action is appropriate. Any refund associated with enforcement will be considered under our [Refund & Cancellation Policy](https://help.launcheshq.com/legal/refund-policy.md) and applicable law. ## 10. Fairness and Reviews We aim to enforce this Code consistently. If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, contact us with the relevant details. We may reconsider a decision when additional information justifies a review. We are not required to restore content that remains unlawful or violates our policies. ## 11. Updates We may update this Code of Conduct as LaunchesHQ evolves. The current version will be available on our website. ## 12.
